With a lot of know-how, innovative ideas and real advice, we accompany our customers on their way to more sustainability.
Our heart beats for solutions such as our Mono Love range or Paper Love packaging: recyclable, lightweight, without aluminium – with up to 70% less greenhouse gas emissions.
But for us, sustainable packaging doesn’t just start with the product.
Our processes are efficient, and our Scope 1 and 2 CO₂ consumption are already very low. And with our sustainable supply chain strategy in Scope 3, we are going further: responsibly, long-term, together with our partners.
A smaller CO₂ footprint requires more than good material – it takes attitude.
That’s why we focus on consistent waste avoidance, internal recycling and the most economical use of materials.
Our own photovoltaic system supplies energy directly from the roof, supplemented by green electricity from renewable sources.
In this way, we produce our bags in a particularly resource-saving way – and work every day to become even better.

Sustainability begins in our laboratory – and does not end with series production.
Together with our suppliers, we validate new, recyclable materials.
At the same time, we are working with our customers to examine how primary materials can be replaced by recyclates – without sacrificing function or safety.
We also take a critical look at existing materials: Where can we reduce weight? Where to save material without losing protection?
This is how real innovation is created – in terms of the environment, process and product.

Climate protection begins in-house
With solar power from our own roof, modern systems and a CO₂ calculator that makes the footprint of each packaging visible, we at Gruber Folien are taking concrete steps towards climate neutrality.
Our MonoLove series reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 70% compared to aluminium composites.
And we are also setting standards internally: our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions are already at a very low level.

For us, sustainability is not a state of affairs – it’s a movement.
We are investing in the approval of additional monomaterials, building an internal education platform for more sustainability knowledge, and are constantly reviewing how we can further reduce our environmental impact – for example, through targeted CO₂ offsetting or even more efficient production processes.
