What is a block bottom bag?
A block bottom bag (also called block bottom bag) is a flexible package with a flat bottom and a rectangular cross-section. It is stable, offers a lot of volume and is particularly suitable as an inlay for cardboard boxes or for high-quality presentation packaging.

How is a block bottom bag made?
Our block bottom bags are made from side-sealed bags that are cut to size and then pulled by hand over a shaping block.
The block corresponds exactly to the bottom dimension of your box. The protruding corners are carefully folded in and glued together – similar to precise gift wrapping. This creates a stable, dimensionally accurate inner bag.
Is the bag dirty on the inside due to the production?
No. We use a special, dirt-resistant material for the molding process. This keeps the inside of the bag clean – even when processed by hand. This is particularly important for sensitive products such as technical components or pharmaceutical applications.
Are the bags sealable?
Yes. Our block bottom bags can be thermally sealed – for safe, barrier-protected packaging against moisture, oxygen, light or loss of aroma.
Are there sustainable materials?
