Frequently asked questions about packaging
for pharmaceuticals and chemicals
Which packaging is suitable for my pharmaceutical products?
This depends on numerous factors – from the chemical composition to the storage and transport environment. We advise you individually and develop the right solution.
Are your bags GMP compliant?
Yes, we only use materials that meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. If required, we also provide the complete documentation.
How is traceability ensured?
Our production processes are designed in such a way that each batch can be clearly identified and documented – including traceability along the entire supply chain.
Can the packaging also be sterilized?
This is possible depending on the material and requirements. Together we clarify whether hot filling, gamma irradiation or another process is suitable.
Can I test a packaging solution before I decide?
Yes, we offer sampling & prototyping – so that you can improve the function and compatibility in your process.
Which printing methods do you offer?
We print using flexographic printing or digital printing – depending on the print run, motif and requirements. Flexographic printing is ideal for large quantities and precise print images. Digital printing is ideal for smaller quantities, variable content or quick realisations. We will advise you individually on the best option.
Do you also produce bags on a contract basis?
Yes, we also manufacture bags as part of contract manufacturing – in other words, you provide us with your own roll material and we take care of the processing. Whether printed films, specific composite materials or special requirements – we check the technical feasibility in advance and coordinate the process precisely with you.
Do you offer sustainable packaging solutions?
Yes – sustainability is an integral part of our work. We develop packaging solutions made from recyclable materials, mono films and resource-saving concepts. Together we will find the variant that suits your product and your sustainability goals.
Can you calculate the carbon footprint of my packaging?
Yes, we calculate the carbon footprint for many types of packaging – individually and transparently. This allows you to plan your products in a more climate-conscious way and communicate the environmental impact. On request, we can also support you in optimising your packaging in terms of CO₂.
Is your packaging recyclable or made from mono-materials?
Many of our solutions are recyclable – e.g. through the use of monomaterials such as PE or PP. We advise you on how you can reduce material combinations and implement recyclable packaging – also with a view to legal requirements and future requirements.
